This hardy, ‘ youthful ‘ group of Americans, ranging from East to West Coasters, were quite at home at Bully Hayes Restaurant in Akaroa !
The waterfront aspect, warm weather and extensive menu prepared them nicely for an afternoon on the stunning Akaroa Harbour. Black Cat Cruises had some swimming with the rare Hectors dolphin, while the rest enjoyed a trip ‘ above ‘ the waterline !
En route they took in the sights of the Peninsula, the flat stones of Birdlings Flat, the uniqueness of Little River, the cheese tasting at Barry’s Bay and ” Murf’s ” fresh seafood on the main wharf in Akaroa.
So whether it’s Banks Peninsula, it’s volcanic origins and range of tourist attractions, the high mountain chain of Arthur’s Pass, the raw beauty of the Cass Basin, the mountain biking and skiing around Castle Hill Village and the Craigieburn Range, or Kaikoura with it’s boutique hotels and Whale Watch, be sure to ask my advice !
Be it touring, guiding, or that first time ski experience in winter at the Porters Ski area, I can help, where the focus is on a fun and safe.
